Privacy Notice

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This notice explains how ORIXO ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use our website or engage us as clients. We are the data controller for the information described here.

Who we are

ORIXO is a UK-based spatial design studio operated by David Austin. You can contact us at hello@orixo.co.uk.

Information we collect

  • Enquiry details — name, email, phone (optional), location, project type, budget range and the message you send us via the Start a Project form.
  • Client portal data — for signed-in clients, your account email, name and project materials we share with you.
  • Correspondence — emails you send us and our replies.

We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. See our Cookie notice for details.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and quote for work.
  • To deliver and manage the projects we're engaged for.
  • To operate the client portal.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Our lawful bases are your consent (when you contact us), performance of a contract (when we work with you), and our legitimate interests in running a studio.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client project records are kept for 7 years after project completion, aligned with UK record-keeping requirements. Portal accounts are removed on request.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers we need to deliver our work: our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud, which uses Supabase infrastructure in the EU), our email delivery service, and specialist manufacturing partners strictly where relevant to your project. We don't sell personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@orixo.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
